MANUAL LATHE OPERATOR

Receive work orders and instructions from Manager.

Identify piece, position in machine, and transfer piece from machine to shipping.

Set up and operate machine per specific to project needs including but not limited to: Adjusting stocks and stops, feeds and speeds, roller rests, etc.

Bore, face, and/or drill pieces per given instructions.

Calipers, micrometers, scales and gauges to check finished sizes.

Clean, lubricate, and complete minor adjustments/replacements to machine. Assist in repair as needed.

Maintain clean and orderly working area, including removing chips from machine and floor.
